"I try to do justice to any character I am given."
Imtiaz Barshon is one of Bangladesh’s most compelling actors — a man whose deep voice, bold physicality, and meticulous craft have made him the definitive choice for morally complex roles across OTT and cinema.
Born in Chittagong, he studied at Rahmania High School before pursuing Political Science at Chittagong College. Training at FAME School of Drama & Music shaped his craft.
Moving to Dhaka in 2011, he began as an assistant director. His breakthrough came with Kaiser (2022) on Chorki.

According to his interview with The Business Standard, Imtiaz’s approach is deeply analytical — every character in Kaiser was researched and discussed beforehand. He believes in truthful, genre-fluid performance above all else.
